Terms & Conditions
G10 Events, Shrewsbury, England
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of tickets and attendance at any event organised, hosted, or promoted by G10 Events ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, or entering our venue, you ("you", "your", "the attendee") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. If you are purchasing tickets on behalf of others, you are responsible for ensuring they have read and agreed to these terms.
2. Age & ID Requirements
All G10 Events are strictly 18+. You must be at least 18 years of age on the date of the event to attend.
We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy at the doors and at all bars. A valid, physical, in-date photo ID is required for entry regardless of your apparent age. We only accept the following forms of identification:
- Valid UK or International Driving Licence (Full or Provisional)
- Valid Passport
- Official identification cards bearing the PASS hologram
Photocopies, digital copies on phones, and student ID cards will NOT be accepted under any circumstances. Failure to produce valid ID will result in denied entry without a refund.
3. Right of Admission Reserved
G10 Events and our designated venue management and security teams reserve the right to refuse admission or revoke admission at any time without refund.
4. Tickets & Non-Refundability
All ticket sales are final. Except where an event is cancelled by us (see clause 6) or where required by law, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased, including in cases of a change of mind, illness, or inability to attend.
Tickets are issued subject to these Terms & Conditions and any additional conditions stated at the point of purchase. Each ticket admits one person and must be presented, along with valid photo ID, at the point of entry.
5. No Cooling-Off Right
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, tickets for leisure events taking place on a specific date are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off right. This means that once you have purchased a ticket, you cannot cancel simply because you have changed your mind.
6. Event Cancellation & Changes
We reserve the right to change the event line-up, timings, or venue arrangements where reasonably necessary, and will try to notify you of any significant change as soon as possible using the contact details you provided at registration.
If we cancel an event outright, we will offer a refund of the ticket price or, where possible, transfer your ticket to a rescheduled date. We are not responsible for any other costs you may incur as a result of a cancellation or change, such as travel or accommodation, except where required by law.
7. Transfer of Tickets
If you can no longer attend, you may privately transfer or sell your ticket to a friend, provided they meet all entry requirements.
8. Entry & Search Procedures
For the safety of all attendees, our door and security staff may carry out reasonable searches of persons and bags on entry. Entry may be refused to anyone who declines a search, or who is found to be carrying prohibited items, including weapons, illegal substances, or other items considered a safety risk. Bags and belongings are brought onto the premises at your own risk.
9. Zero-Tolerance Policy
We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards violence, harassment, discrimination, illegal drug use, and any behaviour that puts the safety or enjoyment of other attendees or staff at risk. Anyone found to be in breach of this policy will be removed from the venue without refund and may be reported to the police.
10. Dress Code
A smart-casual dress code applies unless stated otherwise for a specific event. Venue management and door staff have final discretion over the dress code and may refuse entry to anyone not meeting it. Any event-specific dress code (such as a themed night) will be published on the relevant event page.
11. Filming & Photography Consent
Photography and filming may take place at our events for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending, you consent to being included incidentally in such photography or filming and to its use across our website and social media channels. If you would prefer not to appear in promotional material, please make yourself known to a member of staff on the night.
12. Health & Safety
You must follow all reasonable health and safety instructions given by venue staff, security, or event organisers, including in the event of an emergency evacuation. Please inform a member of staff immediately if you notice a hazard or have a medical concern. Attendance at our events is at your own risk, save for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, which we do not exclude.
13. Liability & Lost Property
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises. Any items found will be logged and held for a reasonable period, but we cannot guarantee their recovery.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
14. Cloakroom
Where a cloakroom service is available, items are left at your own risk. We recommend you do not leave valuables, cash, or fragile items in the cloakroom, as we cannot accept liability for loss or damage beyond what is required by law.
15. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, venue unavailability, power failure, industrial action, or government restrictions. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you and offer an alternative date or a refund in line with clause 6.
16. Data Protection (GDPR)
We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under UK GDPR. By purchasing a ticket or registering for an event, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
17. Competitions & Promotions
From time to time we may run competitions, giveaways, or promotional ticket offers. Any such promotion will have its own specific rules published alongside it, including eligibility criteria, entry method, and how winners are selected and notified. Where no specific rules are published, these Terms & Conditions apply. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative unless stated otherwise. Entrants must still meet the 18+ age requirement and ID checks in clause 2.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed deleted, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full force and effect.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
